Whether it was the squid or the ravioli, the food was delicious and packed with flavor. It is a good spot whether inside or outside to have a meal and get a feel for Pisa in all of its wonderment. Staff is friendly and attentive - well worth walking slightly off the main road for a delicious dinner.

Delicious food and great service. More refined than your typical trattoria Italian dishes. Felt like it was reasonable value for money given the food quality - would definitely recommend the trio of tartare (OMG the white truffle!) and duck breast.

Last year we dined at this restaurant and we both loved their gnudi. So, this year while in Pisa we paid them a visit and wanted to have their gnudi again. To our disappointment, the gnudi were not on the menu that day. However, they offered to make them especially for us if we didn’t mind to wait a little… and they did. Wonderful restaurant with outstanding service. Thank you Tora Tora.

I almost never enter a restaurant without doing deep research 😅, so I am thankfull yo all my predecessors for their reviews 👏. I saw good reviews for Tora Tora, and I was happy to see that it’s open on January 1st for lunch 😇.
I’ll give 5 stars in all categories because the food was great, the atmosphere was perfect (it is the first day of the new year, after all 😅) and the ladies that served were very nice.
We started with the Chestnut Soup with Saint Jacques, and it was amazing. Then we had a Tagliata in lardo with potatoes and chimichurri. After 13 days in Florence with plenty of Costoletta and Fiorentina, I can say this was different and very good. Just a note: the portions might seem smaller only because we decided to share the dish, but they are actually normal-sized 😅!
We finished with a cheesecake with chestnut and kaki coulis - amazing. And just to say, we’ve already booked for this evening. I’ll be back with my thoughts after the second round 😅.
Update: Second round confirms the goodies! We had the Pumpkin Risotto and the Rombo with celery purée and artichoke - very good!- Cibo

The food was outstanding as well, and we had a hard time choosing with so many tempting options.

Really delicious Italian restaurant! The staff was nice and the food was amazing. I tried four dishes and I liked all of them, so when you're spending some time in pisa and want to eat a tiny bit fancier for a reasonable price, I recommend this place

We spend the day in Pisa and was searching for a nice place to have dinner. We found this place after walking along some small passeges. The food was awesome and so delicious. Very nice staff. Very kind and polite. Not very expensive. Quite affordable 😊 Thanks for the nice dinner

We were a little nervous at first choosing this particular restaurant as there were no diners. However the food was totally delicious, staff very friendly… owner cooks too I believe. They knew we were sharing each dish so they split onto 2 plates before bringing out to table, hence photos look small. Recommend as the most beautiful flavours.

I had my best meal of the trip here, the seafood pasta were so good, the waiter brother was very nice and patient. The restaurant was so cozy and played very nice music. Such a wonderful night!

Lovely restaurant in a quiet square. Tables outside. Very nice and helpful staff. The waitresses always with a smile helped to distract my baby daughter and explained the menu for us in english. Food was very well executed between classics and authoral dishes. I will recommend for everyone visiting Pisa.

Lovely restaurant in a really nice quiet cosy square perfect if you want to get away from crowds. Very close to the high street. They made us feel so welcome with our 10 month old (they have high chairs) and were very friendly and spoke English well. Ended up coming here twice as it was the best food on our trip! Wanted to try the whole menu! Oh and bonus the cappuccino's were delicious.
The place of taste. Totally recommend it. Amazing food and atmosphere, surprised by the tastes. Finish with tiramisu, its to die for.
